The Quakes are proud community partners of Frameline50 for the world premiere of The Hockey Player — and we want a Quakes crew in the house.

Directed by Jacqueline Doorey, the documentary follows Canadian defenseman Luke Prokop, the first and still only player under an NHL contract to come out as gay, and his path through hockey's culture toward living openly. It's a story about family, sport, and being first — right in our wheelhouse.
