The San Francisco Earthquakes is a LGBTQ+ ice hockey team, founded in 1998 and currently playing at Yerba Buena Ice in San Francisco. Players come from all over the Bay Area, are all ages and have diverse hockey skills. Our ethos is to create a safe, fun, healthy, non-discriminatory space for LGBTQ+ community to enjoy and play ice hockey.

The team was founded to create a safe, welcoming, and empowering space for queer athletes and allies, we bring together players of various skill levels who share a love for the game and a commitment to inclusion on and off the ice.

We play year-round in a local league at Yerba Buena as well as tournaments across North America where we proudly represent the Bay Area.

Whether you’re looking to develop your skills, find a supportive team, or just want to hit the ice with some awesome humans, the Earthquakes are here to shake things up.
